The 2013 Tokyo Motor Show has just begun and already Subaru is on a roll, unveiling an entirely new car dubbed the Subaru Levorg. Sitting between the Impreza hatch and Liberty wagon in size, Subaru says the Levorg is aimed toward drivers looking for a sporty but practical touring vehicle.
The Levorg has a choice of two different engine configurations, either a 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder boxer rated at 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, or a 2.0-litre engine that has an impressive 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Both models are equipped with Subaru's Lineartronic CVT transmission. There has been no word of a manual-only option, but the larger engine model features a sport mode with semi-automatic shifting through an eight-speed transmission.
The inside is just as nicely equipped with a sporty steering wheel, LCD display instrument dials, and high quality trim in metallic and piano black.
