Chrysler Introduces MOPAR SEMA Lineup

When the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show opens its doors Oct. 30, Chrysler will have as many as 24 Mopar-modified cars on display. Featuring high-performance editions from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, SRT and FIAT, the manufacturer will also show more than 500 Mopar performance accessories.

“The SEMA show is the perfect place for us to showcase our vast portfolio of proven, quality-tested Mopar performance parts and accessories,” Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar said during the news release.

The company will have a number of heavily modified center-stage attractions at SEMA. Some of the models introduced include:

Jeep Wrangler Sand Trooper – the 5.7-litre, 357 hp HEMI V8 will feature a matte sand-dune paint scheme, Swamper Bogger Tires and Mopar Fox Shox, with 5 inches of additional ground clearance. A full length underbody skid plate, vented hood, winch, off-road lights, and Mopar half-doors round out exterior upgrades, while interior treatments include Katzkin leather seats, a rearview camera, CB radio, locking storage areas and a trailside winch kit.

Dodge Charger Juiced – featuring the Mopar Viper 650 hp V10 engine, Mopar cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, lowered suspension, and 20-inch matte-black lightweight wheels, the Juiced will be the company’s fastest Charger ever. With Katzkin embroidered leather seats, the interior will also feature aluminum bezels, Mopar door sills, and a Mopar pistol-grip shifter.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Half & Half – separated with a zipper paint scheme down the centre of the Jeep, the front bumper actually has a giant zipper attached, splitting the Deep Cherry Pearl Coat paint and body kit between a stock and highly “Moparized” Cherokee. The inside continues the Half & Half theme with a number of Mopar accessories including Katzkin leather seats, bezels, a pedal kit, and door sill guards on the Mopar side.

SRT Viper – one of the most anticipated cars from the lineup will be the 2013 SRT Viper. Featuring a number of carbon fiber upgrades, the Viper will have an exposed performance cross X-Brace that is 50 per cent lighter than the stock version, a carbon fiber aero kit, and Mopar coil springs. The full black interior features Sabelt hard-shell sport seats and six-point safety harnesses, billet aluminum bezels, controls and shift knob. The car also features a quick-release camera mount in the bulkhead and a “Track Pack” option with front tow hook, LED fog lights, and wheels finished in hyperblack.

Chrysler 300 Luxury – A blue pearl coat paint scheme accompanies a platinum mesh grille and 20-inch Mopar satin carbon wheels, mounted to a performance handling coilover kit. The rear axle is switched out for a Mopar 3:91 for quicker acceleration, while interior upgrades feature quilted Katzkin leather seats, shifter knob, illuminated door sills and pedal kit.

Fiat 500 Beach Cruiser – Taking a page from the West Coast, the 500 features a matte grey paint scheme as a throwback to the hot rod era. With flared fenders and Mopar centre cap wheels, the upgrades also give the car dramatic visual appeal with a one-foot wider stance. Partnered with a matching surfboard, the roof rack features teak woodwork, while interior treatments see teak floor slats, high-gloss vinyl seats, and a white-ball shifter. Upgrades are topped off with Mopar exhaust, struts and a cold-air intake.

Urban Ram – with a 392 HEMI engine, the Ram 1500 is loaded with Mopar headers, cold-air intake, dual exhaust, and a handling kit complete with SRT brake rotors, calipers and 22-inch R/T hyperblack wheels. The modern blue paint job with a Mopar blue stripes wrap over the performance hood and body kit, which includes a fiberglass tonneau cover on top of an ambient-lit, Mopar emblazed bed.

Dart Dart Carbon Fire - The front-end of the satin grey Carbon Fire features a Mopar carbon fibre hood to significantly reduce weight, while the back-end features a three piece prototype spoiler. Gloss black 19-inch wheels, roof and mirror covers are partnered with a satin black body kit and prototype Mopar grille to round out the appearance. Interior upgrades are suited to match the colour scheme, with Katzkin leather seats and dark matted bezels.
