Pirelli launches the first 2.0 Formula One App

Pirelli’s latest launch is the very first second screen app dedicated to motorsport

Formula One at your fingertips, ensuring that fans of the fastest championship in the world stay in constant touch with everything happening both inside and outside the paddock. Thanks to Pirelli PZero – Formula One’s first 2.0 app, now downloadable for free from the App store – this becomes a reality.

Designed by the Italian tyre firm for all tablet computers, the new app allows race fans keep themselves constantly informed, as well as share their passion and comment on the latest car and driver developments with friends via social networks.

With just one touch, Formula One fans can create their own personalised screen, selecting real-time information sources such as online news, magazines and blogs as well as integrating favourite Twitter and Facebook profiles.

The Pirelli P Zero screen can be interactively combined with television images, or used as a mobile device to follow races and the latest news from the paddock at any time in any place, thanks to live news, films, Pirelli’s 3D videos, interviews and comment.

Pirelli’s app also offers exclusive content that reveals the secrets of the teams and drivers as well as the tyres: which are once more set to become a decisive factor in this year’s championship.

The Pirelli P Zero app offers tyre information as well as graphics with pre and post race data regarding pit stops, lap times and team strategies, not to mention the latest news and interviews from the world of Pirelli.
