As an ode to the company's history, Bugatti will be showcasing the fourth and latest edition of its six “Legends of Bugatti” Veyron series at the Geneva Motor Show. This model, dubbed the “Rembrandt Bugatti,” celebrates not the famous painter, but rather company founder Ettore's brother, a sculpture renowned for his wildlife subjects in the early 20th century.
To honour Rembrandt (1884-1916), the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is a limited edition of just three models costing €2.18 million ($3.3 CAD) each. The exterior consists of a bronze carbon clear coat and light brown paint scheme inspired by his bronze work, and both the oil and gas cap are laser etched with his signature.
Inside, the special edition is dressed in a light brown “Cognac” leather, and finished with a replication of Rembrandt's famous bronze elephant sculpture between the driver and passenger seats. All three models have already been sold, but the limited edition Veyron will be on display at Geneva from March 6 to 16.
