Here at Ignition Luxury & Performance, we drive a lot of new vehicles - literally we're in a new car every single week - and we're always looking for new and interesting ways to cover the latest offerings hitting Canadian showrooms. So, with that in mind, we're starting a new online feature: This Week's Press Car.
While the vast majority of the cars we test drive end up appearing as reviews in the pages of Ignition, some wind up on the cutting room floor. It happens. Thankfully, the space restrictions we sometimes run into in the print edition of Ignition, are not an issue online. Here, at Ignitionmag.ca, we're only limited by our imaginations and we're going to take full advantage of it.
Beginning this week we're going to feature a new car per week. These features will be short takes of the cars we drive, with a mix of what you need to know (specs, pricing, etc.) along with some general driving impressions.
Because press fleet loans are typically Monday to Monday (with a few exceptions for stat holidays and shorter-term loans), we'll tell you what we're driving when we pick the vehicle up along with a line or two about the car and a photo, followed by our mini review on Friday. The cycle will reset the following Monday when we change cars and the process begins again.
This Week's Press Car will also appear on Ignition's official Facebook and Twitter feeds.
