Pirelli World Challenge qualifying for Saturday’s Round Four race at Miller Motorsports Park on Friday afternoon was cancelled due to a lack of visibility during a passing snow storm at the Tooele, Utah track.

The grid for Saturday’s Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of Utah presented by Bondurant will be set by SCCA Pro Racing Regulations. The rules set the grid by Drivers’ Points in each class; drivers who have not scored points in the first three rounds of the season will be gridded based on combined practice times after those who have scored points. No qualifying bonus points will be awarded.

James Sofronas will start on the GT and overall pole in the No. 14 GMG Porsche 911 GT3. Sofronas is second in points behind Patrick Long, who is not at Miller Motorsports Park due to scheduling conflicts.

Paul Brown is the GTS polesitter in the No. 50 Lucas Oil/K&N Filters Ford Mustang Boss 302S. Lawson Aschenbach takes the honor in Touring Car as that class’s championship leader.

Fifty cars are expected to start Saturday afternoon’s race at the 15-turn, 3.048-mile circuit.

The lights will go out for the standing start on Saturday afternoon at 2:55 p.m. MDT.
