2014 Nismo GT-R
Nissan has unveiled the ultimate iteration of their GT-R super car. Inspired by the Nismo-prepared GT-R that successfully competed at the Nurburgring 24 hour race, the Nissan GT-R Nismo delivers even greater performance than before, thanks to an increased engine output and improvements in the GT-R’s aerodynamics. The new GT-R Nismo generates over 100kg of additional downforce at 300km/h.

Thanks to new high flow, larger diameter turbos, the GT-R Nismo’s engine output has been raised to 600hp, while torque is now over 480 lb-ft. The suspension setup is based off the configuration set by Nismo for Nissan’s entry into the 2012 Nurburgring 24-hour race, with slight adaptations for improved refinement for the street car, such as reduced road noise and harshness.

2014 Nismo GT-RThe GT-R Nismo features a new rear trunk-mounted spoiler, a front carbon bumper, and a lower front undercover, all of which improve the car’s downforce. New to the GT-R are the Nismo’s black 6-spoke wheels that were inspired by Nissan’s legendary GT500 race car, as well as a dark matte grey paint job to differentiate the Nismo further from other GT-R models.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo was unveiled at Nissan’s global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan to celebrate the brand’s 80th anniversary and will make an appearance at this year’s Tokyo International Motor Show on November 20, 2013.
