Ferrari’s newest masterpiece was unveiled to the Canadian market today at the Ferrari of Ontario Showroom. Remo Ferri, president of Ferrari of Ontario, and Marco Mattiacci, president and CEO of Ferrari North America, were on hand to give prospective buyers the first close-up of the new supercar from the Maranello factory.
The 6.2-litre V8 packs a staggering 731 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, with an estimated zero-to-100 km/h time of three seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h. That makes it Ferrari’s most powerful naturally-arpirated V12, as well as their fastest production car ever built. It’ll beat an Enzo, and at 3,600 lb, it has a better power-to-weight ratio than the legendary F40.
The design is a collaboration with the Ferrari Group and Pininfarina, and the latest prancing horse will be available early 2013 with a ticket price of $349,000.
