KIA’s Niro might be dubbed a European concept when it’s unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show on September 10, but the dramatically-styled B-segment car is undoubtedly a hint at the company’s global design direction.
Last week we hinted at the car, saying it would use materials different to those typically used in an automobile, while offering more space and options than traditional compact vehicles. After seeing the latest photo offerings, it’s easy to see how.
The car was designed at KIA’s Frankfurt design studio under the watchful eye of European Chief Designer Gregory Guillaume. Expect the response from the Frankfurt unveil to determine whether the Niro, or something similar, makes it to showrooms later on.
