Chevrolet used the Frankfurt Motor Show to display its new Camaro convertible and coupe and a host of new technology features.
Dressed in a new, lower-slung package, the 2014 Camaro includes improved aerodynamics, a lower and narrower front grill and fascia, new rear deck lid and taillight package. The updates give the Camaro a lower center of gravity and reduce lift for added performance and efficiency.
Powering the 2014 version is the proven 6.2-litre V8 mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The manual outputs 432 horsepower and reaches 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds.
New for 2014 are standard keyless entry and a new colour heads-up display, a rear view camera, and Chevrolet's new MyLink connected radio, allowing users to easily access media and specialized apps from their mobile device. From playlists to photos and phone contacts, the MyLink system is easily adapted to multiple users/drivers by pairing up to five phones at once, and works seamlessly with the iOS Siri Eyes Free app for safe voice-activated operation.
