It appears silly season is not over, asFelipe Massa was being coy about which teams may still be interested in the his services next year. The Brazilian met with the press at Ferrari's hospitality quarters at the Buddh International Circuit in New Delhi today, but wasn't giving much in terms of his 2014 status, particularly on Williams rumours.
“I have nothing to say for the moment,” he said. “When the time is right I will comment. For sure, I am talking with a few teams, including even Williams.
“I will not go to a small team. I will go to the team that has possibilities to build a good car. I’m not a pay driver, so I will not go to a team just because I have a sponsor. I will go for my experience and for what I have already achieved in my career.
“I want to try the best I can to score as many points as possible,” he said. “The team is still fighting for second place in the championship and this is very important for us and it’s the only thing I have in my mind.”
Ferrari sits in a tight battle for second with just three rounds remaining, leading Mercedes-Benz 297 points to 287. In the last three races, both Massa and teammate Fernando Alonso have earned 49 points compared to 42 between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Alonso also sits second in the driver standings behind Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, although the German driver can take his fourth-straight championship with a win on Sunday.
