BMW's latest one-off creation is the culmination of a partnership with design house Pininfarina, the group responsible for the timeless concept and production designs past and present.
Starting with the Cisitalia 202 and moving to countless Lancias, Maseratis, Alfas and Ferraris that include the 250 GT, Testarossa, P4/P5 Concept and FF, 458, F12, the Italian group decided to go German with the BMW Gran Lusso Coupe.
The case study is likely a sign of design trends for future production BMW models, but we will have to wait until the car is unveiled May 24 at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Esta 2013.
Equipped with a V12 sans horsepower or performance numbers, the newest concept sibling to the 2012 Zagato-built Z-4 would be a punishing supercoupe to say the least. Stay tuned for more info.
