The site, redesigned by XOS Digital in Lake Mary, Fla., has a noticeably updated look and feel, highlighted by a new “GRAND-AM TV” area where a variety of video will be housed, including race broadcasts for both the Rolex Series and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge that will be available three days after their initial airing on SPEED. In addition, race highlights produced by GRAND-AM, with graphics and commentary, now can be viewed on the same day as original race broadcasts.

An increased focus on fan interaction greets site users, via the ability to post comments on news directly on the site and share those comments on Facebook. Users also can follow social media – including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube – directly on the GRAND-AM.com home page in the “Ways to Connect” module. Fans also can submit photos for consideration to be posted in the “From Race Fans, For Race Fans” photo gallery by e-mailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Complementing the social and digital upgrades are further improvements regarding the “staples” of GRAND-AM information and coverage. Latest series and industry news, information on upcoming events and statistics all are easier to access. The site also features enhanced live timing and scoring. Data from each practice, qualifying and race session is divided by class, making it easier to follow the action. All site information can also be accessed via mobile devices, with apps for iPhone, Android and Windows mobile devices set to debut this summer.

“Our sleek, new website showcases some new technology, and in the process showcases our sport in a first-rate, state-of-the-art style,” said GRAND-AM CEO Ed Bennett. “The site is exciting, informative and interactive – but it’s also indicative of where GRAND-AM is headed on all fronts. This site will serve our fans and the entire GRAND-AM industry – drivers, teams, tracks and sponsors.”
