IndyCar Racer James Hinchcliffe to Host in Toronto
Toronto’s James Hinchcliffe is excited to once again play host to his fellow IZOD IndyCar Series racers and fans alike at the 7th Annual HinchTown Party at Maison Mercer following the ‘Honda Indy Toronto’ on Sunday, July 8.
Always an eagerly anticipated event once the IndyCar action is done at Exhibition Place, this year proves to be no exception as ‘Hinch’, driver of the No.27 Go Daddy entry (pictured) for Andretti Autosport, again welcomes everyone as Mayor of HinchTown to the party.
“It’s just a great way for everyone to let their hair down a bit following another busy weekend of racing,” enthused Hinchcliffe – who sits currently sits fifth in the IndyCar Series heading into Round 10 in his native Toronto. “Every year the party gets bigger and better and for me it’s just a fun opportunity to do something for everyone in my home city.
“I love the race in Toronto, that much is obvious, but in addition to enjoying that element I want to make sure everyone has a good time when they’re in town, that was really the thought process behind the HinchTown party. Again, I have to thank all the partners involved who help make this happen and we look forward to seeing everyone after the race at Maison Mercer!”
This year’s event is partnered by Absolut Elyx, Toronto Sun, Chevrolet, Fiber Living and NOCO.
Fiber Living, as part of their support of the event, will be kindly donating a $500 gift certificate to one lucky raffle winner on the night!
Music on the night will be provided by MC Flipside – who recently played at the famed Juno’s alongside Deadmau5, as well as by DJ Tiggur, a mainstay of the HinchTown post-race party in Toronto.
