Ford EcoBoost Hot Wheels Rip Rod
The Hot Wheels Rip Rod is a collaboration between Ford, Mattel and media company Bandito Brothers. What was once a rolling chassis that was towed by Ford show vehicles is now powered by Ford's new 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine! The Rip Rod features meaty tires, beefy suspension, and the nostalgic Hot Wheels paint job we all know and love. It even carries a growling exhaust note that sounds nothing like what one would expect comes from an engine that reportedly fits in a suitcase.
PASMAG Honda Re-FIT
Wrapped in Aluminum Red and an edgy racing livery, PASMAG's (Performance Auto & Sound Magazine) project Honda Fit is what it looks like when the little commuter goes racing. Toting an imported Mugen body kit, lightweight Fast wheels, Tein suspension, Corbeau Seats and Sabelt harnesses, it not only shows off how versatile the platform is, but highlights how quickly it was embraced by the aftermarket. Nissan has already announced a Micra Cup challenge; maybe Honda should look at doing the same.
Lexus RC-F GT3
The GT3 iteration of the RC F is a race-ready production model that can be bought straight from Lexus. The 5.0-liter V8 is tuned to exceed 540 horsepower and the body is fitted with a full-on GT3-spec aerodynamic body kit. Weighing in at approximately 1,250 kg, it gives the RC F GT3 an impressive power to weight ratio that race teams will no doubt be drooling over when it goes on sale this year. Look to see it make an appearance among other competing powerhouses in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Super Taikyu and Super GT racing series.
NEXTMOD Scion FR-S
These Mississauga natives teamed up with an impressive list of Japanese aftermarket manufacturers to bring this widebody Scion FR-S to life. The widebody kit is Varis Japan's. The build is rounded out with a Voltex rear spoiler, Cusco suspension components, GReddy go-faster bits, AP Racing lightweight brakes and it even sits on revered Volk TE37 wheels. This FR-S is a delight for both enthusiasts of the JDM-style and fans of motorsport. Check it out, front and center at Scion's booth.
Paragon Competition Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo
Paragon Competition got designers busy when they announced that they would be building a Super Trofeo Huracan for IMSA competition. After a ton of applications, it was Joe Chow who won out and got his green, white, and black bubble livery printed on the racing Lambo. Besides a new skin, the Huracan also features a Super Trofeo aero kit, custom race gearing, Ohlins suspension and other parts to make really give this bull some horns. Looks for it on the podium in 2015!
