MBRP Performance Exhaust Inc. – The leading manufacture in high performance exhausts for today’s most popular import and domestic vehicles, has just announced a sponsorship of the No. 8 BAR1 Motorsports entry in the American Le Mans Series driven by Race Car Drivers Kyle Marcelli and Chris Cumming.
With a mission to bring the most innovative exhaust products to the automotive industry, MBRP is excited to align themselves with a multi-time American Le Mans Series race winner and one of Canada’s rising stars in professional motorsport Kyle Marcelli. Together the duo have some unique and engaging promotional plans for 2013.
The American Le Mans Series is the world`s leading sports car championship and is recognized as the Global Leader in Green Racing. In the tradition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, multiple classes of cars - purpose-built prototypes and production-based Grand Touring automobiles - race on the track at the same time to create compelling race action and constant passing. All cars in the Series compete using one of five approved alternative fuels or energy sources: clean sulfur-free diesel, cellulosic E85 or E10, Isobutanol and electric hybrid technologies. The Series has more automobile marques involved than any other major race series in the world. Following a second place finish in round one of the American Le Mans Series at the demanding 12-Hours of Sebring, Marcelli, co-driver Chris Cumming and team BAR1 Motorsports now head to the west coast for round two on the streets of Long Beach, California April 19-20. The 1.7-mile temporary circuit is always a fan favorite and boasts excellent racing!
