SUV buyers will have another option to consider with Land Rover officially unveiling their new long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover, their first long wheelbase version in 20 years. The Range Rover L is another clear indication that customers nowadays are considering more alternatives to the luxury sedan. The Range Rover L offers 5.5 inches of additional legroom in the rear, as well as a new "Executive Class" seat option that can recline an additional 17 degrees, eight more than the standard model. The long wheelbase versions will be offered on the new Range Rover Vogue, Vogue SE, Autobiography, and the new Autobiography Black trims.
Speaking of the Autobiography Black, Range Rover has introduced their new ultra exclusive trim, designed by Land Rover's "Engineered to Order" division. It will be limited to only around 100 examples for 2014, and expected to be the most expensive Range Rover yet. To give the Autobiography Black a distinctive appearance, the front grille and side vents have been altered with badging in black enamel and chrome, as well as the rear has the addition of a chrome accent finished tailgate and signature rear lamps.
One of the neatest features offered on the new Range Rover Autobiography Black is the extended centre console with electrically powered folding tables. They will be finished in black leather and offer built-in USB charging sockets to power mobile devices. Also, the rear seats will house lumbar massagers, as well as the interior will feature LED mood lighting in 10 different colours.
The new car will debut at the Dubai International Motor Motorshow on November 5th.
