A wagon version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class will arrive in Canada this summer, the company confirmed at the Montreal auto show, but only with a diesel engine – and it won’t be available in the U.S.
The C 300d 4MATIC wagon will offer one engine: a four-cylinder 2.1-litre engine similar to the one in the GLC crossover, making 200 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. It will also come standard with Benz’s all-wheel drive system, seven-speed automatic and slightly less cargo room than its larger and higher-riding GLC sibling (formerly GLK).
Prices for the C-Class wagon haven’t yet been announced, but it’s expected to be on sale by mid-year.
