Continuing what has been a model relationship between Castrol and two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion DJ Kennington, the two parties are extremely pleased to announce they have reached a new agreement to continue the association in a multi-year partnership.

Once again this season in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series DJ Kennington will pilot the #17 Castrol Edge Dodge from coast to coast in Canada chasing his third championship in the series.  Now approaching two full decades together Castrol and Kennington have become synonymous with success.

“I have said many times there’s no way I would be where I am without the great support from Castrol” stated Kennington.  “I’m so proud to represent them and to have been able to win as much as we have together.  They’re a part of my family and with their support with this new agreement we’re even more motivated than ever” he added.

Marketing Communications Manager Marsha McLaughlin said “We’re extremely proud of DJ and the team and all that they have accomplished.  We wanted to not only continue but expand our partnership together.  As a company we’ve seen the results of this association and believe there is even greater potential in the future”.

Kennington and the #17 Castrol Edge Dodge team have been busy in the off season preparing for competition which opens during the Victoria Day Speedfest presented by Castrol Edge at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Bowmanville, ON.  The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race will be the feature event Sunday May 19th where Kennington will begin defense of his series championship.
