Lamborghini has been known for creating some truly outrageous automobiles, but they also aren’t shy of building bespoke models for special individuals who have a large budget for cars. Collector Albert Spiess is one of those people, and Lamborghini has partnered with the coachbuilding company Zagato to create a one-off model based off the LP570-4.
Designed as a modern collectible in honour of Zagato’s 95th anniversary, the Lamborghini 5-95 takes a radical departure in the appearance department. The conventional body of the Gallardo LP570-4 has made way for a more Speed Racer design, with a unique wind deflector at the bottom of the windshield as one of its defining characteristics.
Zagato shares many similar design details between its custom automobiles, one of which is the wraparound glass as well as the double-bubble roof. Other interesting changes made to the LP570-4 is the lengthened hood, which goes well with the shortened trunk that “reveals the brutality of the mechanical components,” as well as the unique centre intake found above the roof.
Although this car is already spoken for, you can find it in Lake Como in Switzerland at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este where it will be making a welcomed appearance.
