What a difference a week makes!
Last time out, we sampled Honda's latest Civic coupe offering, which is a fine example of cost-conscious, effiicient performance.
This week we've flipped the script entirely with the 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT 392, a rear-wheel drive, HEMI-powered muscle car dripping with the best kind of nostalgia Detroit can muster.
Interesting factoid: the Challenger, along with its four-door cousins, the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, is built exclusively in Canada at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton Assembly plant.
At any rate, with this car the pictures really say it all, but here are the numbers that matter:
- 6.4-litre SRT 392 (cubic-inch) HEMI V8
- 6-speed TREMEC manual transmission
- 485 horsepower / 475 lb-ft. of torque
- 0-100 km/h in about 4 seconds
It should make for a fun week of driving, so be sure to check back here on Friday for our official verdict!
