Honda’s presence in Canada has been nothing short of incredible. It’s even more so when you look at the stiff competition it has faced in the small and mid-size vehicle segment, and the fact the Civic and its various iterations have been the top selling cars in Canada for 14 consecutive years.
Group Managing Editor Shaun Keenan and I had Toronto Motorsports Park to ourselves earlier this month, so we decided to test the latest Civic Si sedan in a number of exercises. We’ve got to say, the results are more than complimentary. On the track or in the streets, the Si handles its own – and it’s hard not to love banging a fast, short-throw six-speed manual in and out of the corners. The Si really has come a long way since it's launch in 1986.
