Paul Walker of Fast and the Furious fame, and Pirelli World Challenge driver Roger Rodas were killed in a single-car accident on Saturday returning from "Winter Drive," a charity and toy drive hosted by Walker.
The two were returning to their AE Performance auto shop, when Rodas lost control of his Porsche Carrera GT and slammed into a tree, causing the Carrera to burst into flames.
Both men were largely influential in the automotive scene, with Walker bringing Tuning culture to the masses through the Fast & the Furious movie franchise. Rodas, a successful Managing Director with Merrill Lynch, placed second in the 2012 Pirelli Porsche Driver's Cup Series before moving to the Pirelli World Challenge this year, driving the Always Evolving Ford Boss Mustang 302S.
